I have read all available Chinese Breeze titles that have been published thus far. I have really enjoyed all the stories and you get a real sense of satisfaction having completed reading a book in Chinese! I wish there were tons more in this series- they have talked about having 8 levels, but as far as I know there are only 3 as of yet.These books are a great change of pace from the usual textbook fare of dialogues and an occasional one page narration. I also believe that they are well thought out in terms of reading readiness/level.
This one, OUR GEESE HAVE GONE, actually made me cry a little at the end. It was just a beautiful, simple story.
I highly recommend Chinese Breeze and look forward to more titles.
By the way, I recommend buying hard copies of these books as opposed to Kindle editions. The Kindle editions are rather poorly laid out and the structure of the new vocabulary glossary is bad.
Hard copies are great, and you get the CD, which is great for listening practice. By the way, I have no idea why the French edition came up here instead of the English, I bought/read the English editions.
