Maybe Baby Maybe Baby Series Book 1 edition by Andrea Smith Romance eBooks Reviews

I want to love this story and while I really enjoy it, the immatureness of both characters got on my nerves. It’s not like they couldn’t act like adults but all the back and forth fighting was too much to atomic at times. I loved Gina and her off the wall personality, and I also I loved Trey and Tyler’s relationship when they got along. The mystery of the story keeps readers hooked and wondering what’s going on. Add in all of Trey’s family drama.... I t made for an epic befall addictive story. I plan to jump right into the next book even with my issue with this one because of the end of this one. 3 stars #2OCCJD
Maybe Baby is the first book I have read from this author. I wasn't sure if I'd like it, but was pleasantly surprised. I didn't feel the story drag. I don't know a lot about horses, but felt I could follow the story and understand what was being discussed.

Trey and Tylar were just amazing. Both have trust issues, but for very different reasons. I had a hard time putting this one down. I just had to know what was happening next. I wish it were dual POVs so I knew what Trey was thinking.

You get an HEA, but their story is not over. There is a cliffhanger that leads to the next book. THIS BOOK CONTAINS SITUATIONS THAT MAY BE TRIGGERS TO SOME READERS.
4 Stars but I so loved the book

Trey and Tyler’s journey is fun and oh the ever not so typical couple. I want to write that mystery surrounds this couple at every turn and that true love blooms in the shadows of their hearts but to be honest with everyone reading this your gonna have to pick up this read to find out for yourself.
Lost hearts, forgiven hearts, love past, present and future hearts is simple but painful hearts are not so much. The term “time heals all wounds “can be brought forth in this book but what happens when ones wounds of the past are to great that they make one cynical of the truth? Can time really be what heals the past into the present and thrown into the future or will it destruct in the midst of it all?

Author Andrea Smith’s work in this first book of her writings is not just simple, complex, compelling but heartwarming in bringing characters full circle in aspects of their lives. The simpleness of a gesture, the complexity of the on goings but the trueness of hearts is what give this book kudos for me.

Happy Reading
The story started out decent and then decayed. I kept reading hoping for some good drama or at the very least, some serious character development or more interesting characters. Never happened. Instead, the story slogged on forever, never really arced and ended like the sound of a whoopie cushion. Didn't like anything about Trey, his aloof, domineering attitude, not even his rich, spoiled, frat boy name. At first, I thought he was the antagonist because he certainly antagonized me as the reader. It was a shame he wasn't made to look good until the very end. Was seriously hoping Tylar would end up with a better guy. For her part, she acted her age, a little immature and dreamy-eyed. Did appreciate the author trying to give her some backbone. Last, the scenes were ridiculously repetitive and annoyingly stupid with all the unrealistic screaming. Would not waste my time on a sequel. No thanks. Too bad, it has to do with horses and takes place in a beautiful area I'm familiar with.
This book was absolutely amazing! I will try to keep my review short, but I doubt it will work. The characters in this book are so dynamic, it makes for such a great story line! Tylar is a great main character who starts stubborn, independent, and ashamed of (and trying to block out) her past. At the end....well, she's still stubborn and independent....but she learns to love herself for who she is and how she became that way, and learns to bend a little and let Trey take care of her. Oh yeah! So Trey...he is a dreamy, confident, protective "Hot Nazi" who has to learn to give Tylar some freedom and space as needed. What you may or may not expect happens....Preston. I hope we see more of her! Then there's Gina, Tylar's best friend. She reminds me of someone who may have feathered hair and wear off-the-shoulder crop tops with daisy dukes. She smacks her gum often, swears like a sailor, and has a heart of gold when it comes to her best friend. You will love everyone else you meet along the way, with the exception of Tyler's mother and Charlie. You will just know!
This book was a lot of back and forth between the 2 characters. At first I didn't mind it, but then it quickly became old. I understand that there is a 10 year age difference between them but it almost felt like there was more. Tylar was constantly fighting herself on what she wanted to do but would give into Trey after complaining about what she wanted to do. Trey is a do it my way or get out kinda guy. That's fine but he had been babied too long and Tylar should have made him man up. Instead, they both were able to act like kids and hurt each other with no repercussions. The story line was good and did grab me, but when I finished the book I just felt like I read a lot of back and forth. The book is long and it sure felt like it.
