Very exciting to think a young innocent young lady would go across the country by herself. I am very glad the wonderful story went the way it did, very romantic and suspenseful. I had to read to the end because I could not wait for the next evening to be able to get back to my book.

I liked this story.It was written nicely.It was not as passionate as I would have liked it to be, between the main characters. But other than that it was a good story.
Predictable is not what you want to say about a book. I did not finish.
When Cassidy Cooper agrees to take her sister's place as a mail order bride; and Ian MacKenzie agrees to masquerade as a wealthy mine owner to try to find the killer of a friend, it leads to a good story. Can two counterfeit people make a successful match?
From the very beginning, I found this book to be surprisingly charming, funny, entertaining with a plot that kept you interested. There was plenty of sexual attraction between the two main characters....or should I say....the four main characters? Nice little twist in this story which benefits ALL characters in this book, except for the bad guys. Ian and Cassie meet under the most unusual of circumstances....she saving her sister from prison and he taking the place of a look-a-like best friend murdered. With determination on both sides to see this through to the end, the two of them embark on a journey with doubts, questions, guilty conscience and excitement....for Cassie a home of her own with a family and for Ian a chance to solve his friends murder.

This book was also a fast and easy read as were the previous three books. For the most part it was a light fun read with lots of bantering and sexual tension.....but once that tension snapped, things finally start happening. Although it happened ALMOST too late in the story, once it did, the dam broke! Cassie and Ian are in for the ride of their life and what a fun ride it is. There are other notable characters that complete this story that I enjoyed as well, brief though they may have been in the book.

I hope you enjoy this story as much as I did. Personally, I think books three and four are the best in this series, but I'm glad I had the background of books one and two. Enjoy! Cheers! 🍻
I liked the story and the characters and while it wasn't totally believable, the story and characters were very enjoyable.
This may be book 4 of the Borrowed Brides series, but it was the best. All the books were well written and enjoyable. This one can be a true stand-alone. While it makes reference to the characters in the other books, they aren't directly involved.
Cassie and Ian's story was so much fun to read. Both pretending to be other people, they are thrown into a dangerous situation while falling in love with each other. You'll love these two characters and the complexity and originality of the storyline.
